Consisting of narrow grooves that run the length of the sheet, the Thinline pattern was made popular by the famous mid-century modern developer Joseph Eichler who used it widely on his homes.
As it gained popularity, the patterned plywood has been used by other mid-century modern architects and designers ever since the 1950s.
Originally applied as exterior siding, interior paneling, and fencing, we’ve seen customers today use our Thinline also as decorative ceiling panels and accent walls. But however you apply it, we think our Thinline plywood is pure mid-century magic!
