About Planktex • Plywood Siding

  • The Planktex pattern consists of a circular sawn swirl texture etched into the surface of the plywood, separated by a 3/16” wide groove.

    Offering a rustic rough-sawn look, each sheet of plywood to appear as 8” planks nailed side by side.

    Introduced in the 1950s, Planktex was utilized by mid-century modern architects such as Joseph Eichler and Carter Sparks (of Streng Bros Homes), among others.
